MSB Mobility ("we", "us", "our") operates the MSB Schools platform and related applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with our services. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including school administrators, transport managers, drivers, and parents.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data: contact information (name, email, phone number) provided during account creation or demo requests; school and fleet information (school name, city, number of buses, transport model); GPS and location data from vehicles equipped with MSB tracking devices during active school transport hours; student attendance records (boarding and alighting confirmations); driver app usage data; and parent app interaction data. We do not collect data from children directly.
3. How We Use Data
Data is used to provide real-time fleet visibility to authorized school personnel; verify student attendance and vehicle capacity compliance; generate operational reports and incident documentation; communicate transport status to parents via the MSB Parents app; improve platform performance and reliability; and respond to demo requests and support inquiries.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with: the subscribing school that owns the transport operation; authorized personnel within the school's administrative structure; parents, limited to information about their own children's transport status; and third-party service providers essential to platform operation (hosting, SMS/WhatsApp delivery), bound by data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
Operational data (GPS tracks, attendance records) is retained for the duration of the active subscription plus 12 months. Account data is retained until the school requests deletion. Demo request data is retained for 24 months unless the requester asks for earlier deletion.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments. GPS data is accessible only to authorized school personnel through authenticated sessions.
7. Your Rights
